Piepowder work as a quartet singing carols, rounds and traditional songs. These are often accompanied by concertina, cornet or percussion to create a full sound and inspiring performance. They greatly enjoy working with Victorian song and tunes and are often found in the costume of the period.
If you would like a different musical setting for your event, Piepowder also provide a fully costumed vocal and instrumental quartet from the medieval period. Piepowder can perform as two duos, one with free-reed and brass arrangements of traditional English tunes and the other working with harp, hammered dulcimer and voice for a truly enchanting musical experience.
